2016-present:  PhD candidate in Hydrology & Aquatic ecology of mountain aquatic ecosystems

Keywords: Mountain lakes, Catchment hydrology, Climatic change, Aquatic ecology

My research focuses on recent changes in the functioning of high mountain aquatic environments, especially in lake ecosystems. In particular, I am interested in contributing to a better understanding of abiotic  factors (e.g. Temperature, Moisture, Water chemistry, ...) which are influencing the distribution of a fungal pathogen (Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis) in global mountain amphibian populations.

My thesis is part of the P3 Project - People, Pollution Pathogens (
