My major interest lies in ecotoxicology. I work mainly in the development of biological tools for detecting the effects of pollution (organics, metals, wastes,…) and mixtures of contaminants on the aquatic environment. I am specialized in the evaluation of genotoxic effects using amphibians (but also insects, diatoms). My fields of interest have recently focused on emerging contaminants in aquatic environments such as carbon and metal nanoparticles. I also develop projects using micro-mesocosms in which are introduced experimental trophic chains.
